Barrels 36/Neuroscience (SfN) 2023

In its 36th edition, the Barrels meeting on sensory-motor integration in the brain this year took place in Baltimore. With more than 100 participants from all over the world, this small-but-beautiful meeting saw a great line-up of speakers and numerous poster presenters. We participated with a poster by Aybeniz on “Investigating the role of interneuron populations in whisking behavior through chemogenetics”. Of course, it is a must to visit Neuroscience 2023, which happened in Washington afterwards where some 30.000 people gathered. It is a great feeling to meet thousands of neuroscientists at SfN! Other than the inspiring lectures, there is always something interesting to find in the posters and having feedback to your own project is invaluable!
