2-4 participants

target groups: scientists with diversity dimension(s) (e.g. first generation academics, internationals, POC, scientists with health impairments (including mental health), people with neurodivergence) and female scientists

Many academics, especially female scientists and scientists with diversity dimensions, place extremely high demands on themselves and tend to underestimate their own achievements and successes. It can therefore be very challenging to develop a stable self-confidence and assertiveness in competitive fields such as science. However, this is essential for actively shaping important discussions, for managing employees or for networking during the coffee break at a conference. This seminar therefore focuses on strengthening inner stability and improving the ability to stand up convincingly for yourself and your personal interests. This also includes being able to defend your own boundaries, if necessary.
