GRK2824@Med school
A great week comes to an end!
From 2 to 5 April, we with the Göttingen Academy for Medical Students hosted 14 highly motivated students of human medicine from Göttingen who wanted to find out about the possibilities of a scientific doctorate at the GRK2824. We organised a varied week for them with initial short courses in "Good Scientific Practice", "Biostatistics" and "Data presentations", and of course there was also enough time for own small research projects. In 4 projects developed by the students themselves, the focus was on various physiological issues such as how food intake influences the blood pH as well as physiological and cognitive performance and how the blood supply to the head changes when playing different wind instruments.

It was a great week and we hope to see many of the students again in 2025 for a Dr. med. thesis in our GRK2824!
