Manuscript acceptance as a Christmas present
As the year is coming to an end, it feels good that also the review process of 2 manuscripts came to an successful end by granting their acceptance.
The first one comes from a collaborative project within the Neuronex consortium “Working memory” (https://www.nxwm.io/) and is entitled “Spike frequency adaptation in primate lateral prefrontal cortex neurons results from interplay between intrinsic properties and circuit dynamics”, which was accepted at Cell Reports.
The second one is the late spin-off of Michael Feyerabend’s dissertation that was performed under the umbrella of the CRC 889 (https://www.sfb889.uni-goettingen.de/). His paper will be published in iSCIENCE and is entitled “Functional thalamocortical innervation of VIP- and SST-expressing GABAergic interneurons in mouse barrel cortex”.
Congratulations to everybody involved – and carry on!
