From 22–24 March, we attended the Medical Scientist Network Symposium at the University of Münster. The event brought together six Medical Scientist Schools across Germany (from the Universities of Duisburg-Essen, Göttingen, Hamburg, Mainz, and Münster), all funded by the Else Kröner-Fresenius Foundation (EKFS), creating a platform for scientific exchange and networking.

Program speakers, coordinators, fellows and PIs, as well as all other interested people came together to discuss current research projects, career development opportunities, and strategies to further strengthen the visibility of Medical Scientists (natural scientists working in medical research).

We would like to sincerely thank the organizing team from Münster and Duisburg-Essen for an inspiring and well-organized symposium, featuring interesting talks, poster sessions, interactive formats, and valuable discussions. We are especially grateful to the EKFS for its continued support of the Medical Scientist Schools and this symposium.
