Proof of Measles Protection

At the UMG, proof of measles protection is mandatory. Without proof of measles protection, it is not possible to enroll at the UMG.

If necessary, please use the time between your application and enrollment to get vaccinated or to refresh your vaccination status. The short period of time after admission to the university is usually not sufficient for this.

With the passing of the new measles protection law in the Bundestag in November 2019, all students of molecular medicine at the UMG are also required to prove their measles protection. Without proof of vaccinations or serological immune protection, the Faculty of Medicine will no longer be able to admit new students to the hospital for block internships, examination courses, etc. from March 1, 2020. Therefore, all future students have to provide a mandatory proof of their measles protection already when they enroll at the UMG.

Please EXCLUSIVELY use this form for proof of measles protection. The form needs to be signed by your doctor and uploaded to your application documents.
