DFG Research Unit: A Research Unit is made up of a team of outstanding scientists working together on a research project (maximum funding 3x4 years).
DFG Clinical Research Unit: The aim of a Clinical Research Unit is the disease- or patient-oriented (translational) clinical research and the long-term implementation of scientific working groups in clinical institutions.
