Medical data integration center (UMG-MeDIC)

In 2016, we started to establish a Medical data integration center (UMG-MeDIC) at the UMG. The MeDIC is implemented as a working group at the Institute for Medical Informatics at the University Medical Center Göttingen. The overall objective of the UMG-MeDIC in the coming years is to establish research data infrastructure between patient care and research across locations together with many other partners within the framework of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) Medical Informatics (MI) initiative.

On this basis, solutions and services for data integration, data analysis and data exchange as well as health care and research data are to be made available to researchers.
