1st GAMS Meeting
Yesterday we had our first GAMS information event. A total of almost 20 students of human medicine were informed by Prof. Dörthe Katschinski, Prof. Tobias Brügmann and Dr. Christina Würtz about the possibilities of a medical doctorate (Dr. med.) at the GRK2824 "Heart & Brain: integrative research across organs" in a Zoom appointment.
During a large introductory week from Tuesday, April 2 until Friday, April 5 (see also timetable) the interested students will have the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the GRK2824 and the projects it funds, gain initial experience in scientific work and receive introductions to topics such as "Biostatistics" and "Good scientific practice".
In a 2nd Zoom on 27 February, ideas for small experiments will be developed together with the students, which will be carried out, evaluated and presented during the introductory week.
