Unexpected but nevertheless highly welcome, the jury for publication of the Anatomische Gesellschaft did vote for our 2023 paper (Guy et al.; Direction selectivity of inhibitory interneurons in mouse barrel cortex differs between interneuron subtypes.) and made it the “Best Publication Award” of this year.
