GRK 2824 @ The AD/PD Conference 2026
Our PhD student of the 1st cohort Mohammed Mehedi Hassan (RP6.1/Prof. Oliver Wirths & Prof. Elisabeth M. Zeisberg) attended the AD/PD™ Conference 2026 about Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases and related neurological disorders, which was held last week from 17 until 21 March in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Mehedi presented his project by a poster entitled “Comparative Analysis of Blood–Brain Barrier Integrity in Mouse Models of Alzheimer’s Disease” where he talked about dysregulation of the blood-brain barrier and how the Endothelial to Mesenchymal Transition might play a role in dysregulation of the Blood-Brain barrier.
