Core Facilities
University Medical Center Göttingen
Core facilities have been set up in selected areas to methodological support and promote research at the University Medical Center Göttingen (UMG). This process enables the efficient and sustainable provision of specific scientific services and infrastructures and leads to an improved utilisation of highly specialised equipment. In addition, the transfer of subject matter expertise is promoted and optimized.
The UMG has three central core facilities. In addition, six scientific core facilities are established and linked to scientific departments of the UMG in order to ensure long-term high standard methodos expertise.
