PhD student Fatima Irfan at 20th Annual Meeting of the European Delirium Association

Our PhD student of the 1^st cohort Fatima Irfan (RP8, Principle Investigator Prof. Dr. von Arnim) presented her poster entitled “Pre- and Post-operative Biomarkers Association with Presence and Duration of Postoperative Delirium (POD) in Older Adults: A Multicenter Cohort Study” at the 20th Annual Meeting of the European Delirium Association (EDA). The EDA took place from took place from November 12^th to 14^th, 2025 in Hamburg.

The conference was specifically focused on clinicians/researchers working on the topic of “Delirium”. Fatima has received great appreciation, and the attendees showed great interest in her poster. In fact, there were only two posters that presented biomarker data in the context of delirium.
