3rd GRK 2824 & CVS PhD Retreat 2025
On Thursday, November 27th, 2025 the GRK 2824 students and principle investigators came togehter with students of the CVS PhD program to our 3rd GRK 2824 & CVS PhD Retreat 2025 at Landhotel am Rothenberg in Volpriehausen. The focus was on scientific exchange but we also came together to get to know each other better in a special atmosphere. In addition to the scientific part of the retreat, there was also the opportunity for personal exchange and joint activities.
The 1st cohort PhD students gave talks about their project to date and discussed their work with the other participants.
This was the first retreat for the 2nd cohort PhD students and the MD scholarship holders. Together with the associated PhD/MD students and CVS PhD students each student gave a poster presenation as a guided poster tour about their own project followed by a poster discussion. They had the opportunity to present their research projects and thus gain initial presenting experience.
Thank you all so much for your intesting talks and posters. It was a pleasure to have you all together. The day was a complete success and we had a great time.
Also great thanks to Mr. Kevin Schwarz and his very friendly team from “Landhotel Am Rothenberg”, we also had a day full of activities and adventures. Thank you so much!
